I owed over $40,000 in credit card debt. Because of some unfortunate circumstances I had gotten behind on all my bills. The time I was dealing with the debt collectors at my work affected my work performance, which lead to a reprimand. I had worked for the same company for over 13 years and never had a reprimand.
